While in law school, Ashley M. Bond was a member of the National Trial Competition Team, where she placed as a regional semi-finalist.  After graduating with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mrs. Bond continued her passion for litigation by returning to her alma mater as a professor. Under her leadership, the mock trial team won the 2022 Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition regional championship and placed second at the 2022 Buffalo-Niagara Trial Competition. By December 2022, the program was ranked 14th in the nation.

Mrs. Bond is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is the only attorney at RSRM who practices both liability defense and workers’ compensation defense.

Her litigation skills have received regional recognition, as she has been consistently selected as a Maryland Rising Star since 2021. In 2018, she received additional recognition for her oral advocacy when the Appellate Court of Maryland extensively quoted her closing argument in one of its unreported opinions.

Mrs. Bond has also served as a member of the Judicial Selections Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and as co-chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Wellness Committee.

Outside of the practice of law, Mrs. Bond enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking, as well as spending time with her family.
